The downloadable video product here is available because I had my disabled mum and disabled neighbour both get a £70 parking ticket for simply parking outside their own homes after a bus lane was placed outside their home.
I had to appeal the ticket for my mum who had only nipped into home. The traffic warden gave no grace period and was caught on CCTV failing to do so.
NOT EVERYONE IS SO LUCKY
For those without their own personal parking space on their property it can get really expensive if the area is patrolled by traffic wardens who love giving out tickets and don't give Grace periods.
My own area of the city cycle lanes have now been put in so all the pavement parker's have started parking a street away, some on double yellow lines.
When the city finally gets a regular traffic warden in the area, most people will be getting hit daily by £70 fines
So it's cheaper for someone to rent someone's parking space when not in use than get hit with a £70 ticket and if you have your own space you can rent it out to others to save them multiple £70 tickets.
